The News
In just 22 hours we will meet at the Harry Male Scout Lodge and head to New Mexico! Here are some last minute updates... A couple of you have not turned in updated health forms or permission slips. You know who you are...dont forget them! Please be at the Scout Lodge by 8am. We will have to pack food and personal gear in the trailer. We want to be on the road as soon as possible. Eat or bring breakfast with you. The weather station in Red River is currently showing 59 degrees with a forecasted high of 73. Lows will be in the mid 40s all week. We will have thunderstorms *every afternoon*. Please be prepared! Have you read the poop sheet? http://www.troop17.net/docs_public/current_info.pdf For those that want to track us, our base camp should be approximately at 363622.6"N 1052302.9"W. *** To help balance the patrols, food, coordination, etc., we have to shuffle one of the patrols into the others. If you are in the Unknown patrol and have not heard from Jack F. already, please call him. He has your temporary assignment for the trip. *** Speaking of Jack F., he will be the SPL for this trip. Atticus and others from staff will be on the trip also. TUESDAY, we WILL have our normal Scout meeting. Ben R. will be the SPL for the meeting. He has some fun things planned for that night. More information throughout the day. See you in the morning! Mr. Turner
